Pennzoil High Fives, BaT Plus, Period Road Tests, Feature Roundup, and Success Story Highlights. Stay up-to-date with BaT News and Updates. Hi {NAME}! November was another big month on BaT. We may be getting reflective as we approach the end of 2023, but we're not slowing down! Here are the latest stories you should know about. Congratulations to Our Latest Pennzoil High Fives Recipients We're ramping up our [Pennzoil High Fives]( program, which covers the full amount of the 5% buyer’s fee for select BaT auction winners. We’re very excited to announce our second round of winners this month! Our first recipient is [RubberPerson]( who won this [1973 Alfa Romeo Berlina]( on November 8. We are big fans of the Berlina as a sensible-shoes sibling to the GTV, and the previous owner made some nice improvements to this one before it came to BaT. In the comments you can see that RubberPerson has been busy making friends in the Alfa community, and his fix-it-as-you-drive-it plan sounds like the perfect way to enjoy this little Italian sedan. With Pennzoil covering the buyer’s fee, he’ll have some padding in the budget to tend to its needs. The second High Fives recipient is [Caffeinated]( who scooped up this 1967 Volvo 123GT from [chsutherland]( on November 8. The car is headed to the PNW, and it sounds like it’s going to get a warm reception upon its arrival. The BaT community seems to have a big soft spot for Amazons, especially the 123GT (which was built to homologate the model for Group 1 rally and touring car racing), and the discussion ran to nearly 150 comments over the course of this auction. Let’s give a a big “thank you” to our friends at Pennzoil, and congratulations to RubberPerson and Caffeinated! We’ll be in touch shortly, and we hope to be able to share an update with the BaT community once you’ve spent some time with your new purchases. You’ll see the Pennzoil High Fives program in action more frequently in the near future, so stay tuned!
