most people aren't afraid to start their dreams  [Brendon pic]( {NAME} - What are the big dreams you have in life? Are you moving towards those dreams with real intention, focus, boldness and consistency? That really matters, right? When I look back to starting my dream of becoming a writer and life coach... ... way back in 2001... .. I think, "Man, I didn't know ANYTHING!" What a blessing that I was so dumb and naive that I just BEGAN! After all these years as a high-performance coach ([become one here](), I've learned that most people aren't actually afraid to start their dream. They're just embarrassed to be seen starting small. THAT is what is holding them back from making a change, transitioning to something else, having faith, taking the next brave steps. They don't have "real" fear, per se. They're just uncertain and worried about what others think. They're just embarrassed that they don't know what to do, or embarrassed how they'll be perceived. Because when you start a new goal or dream, most people won't get it. They like the title and box they've put you in. They know "that" version of you. But life change (and, can we be honest and say MATURITY?) is often about worrying less about others' labels and perceptions of you. It's about being more conscious and deliberate about who you desire to become. It's about being intentional about how you show up and how dedicated you are to learning, serving and moving toward your ideal future. It's about architecting your future, not worrying about what other people's uninformed or unexplored estimates are of your potential. I've written a lot about that in my books. And I spend a lot of time mentoring people in my industry to just GO DO THEIR THING. Just begin. Just keep going. Just work hard, have faith, and serve others with real joy, intention and excellence. I know that sounds basic, but it sure helped me on my journey as a coach all those years ago. I just began. I studied, tried a lot, kept going, got better at it. Now I'm still going and still learning even as I've been named the world's best high-performane coach year after year. (If you're interested in becoming a coach, my next Certification Week is happening in May. [Learn more here](.) No matter what you do, please, check yourself today: "Am I holding back in life because I'm worried what other people think? Or am I shaping my own identity and life with real intention, focus, boldness and consistency?" Intention: Determine what you want. Focus: Align your attention and action toward what you want. Boldness: Don't mess around, take direct and courageous action. Consistency: Every.Dang.Day. It's Sunday, so it's always a great day to reflect on how we're living and progressing, right? Cheering you on! Your coach, - Brendon Ps. I recently hosted a special workshop  on how I approach life coaching. We max'd out the Zoom, so [here's a replay](.
