Coaching youth sports, while being extremely rewarding, is one of the hardest coaching challen

Coaching youth sports, while being extremely rewarding, is one of the hardest coaching challenges (maybe even the hardest!)  It’s also one of the most important because the ages of 5-14 are critical for both player development and character development.  So not only are you trying to:  * Master all the Xs and Os * Successfully manage immature attitudes * Coach wildly different skill sets to ensure the least skilled don’t get left behind and the more skilled don’t get bored  But you’re also focusing on developing your players’ potential off the court too.  We’re big believers in teaching both basketball skills AND core character traits like gratitude, teamwork, overcoming adversity, communication, empathy, and work ethic.  All of those traits will serve players extremely well in whatever path they choose for the future.  As a youth coach, you set the tone for the type of players and people they become in the future.  That’s a lot of responsibility.  And the truth is, the way that you coach a 5 year old player is going to be significantly different than the way you coach a 12 year old.  Even though they’re both “young” they’re at very different stages of their personal development.  That’s why we now have TWO comprehensive youth training programs for our community.  The first one is brand-new and it’s called [Beginner Basketball with Jim Huber.](  We just launched this program yesterday, and it’s specifically designed for beginning basketball players age 5-9. This system contains all of the foundational and basic drills you need to teach young players the game of basketball….. as well as the progressions to help them grow! This is where you’ll find a lot more games and fun activities for you to use in order to keep the players engaged while also helping them develop. There’s also more of a focus on small-sided games using 2 on 2 and 3 on 3 personnel. Our other program, [the Youth Coaching System with Jim Huber]( geared towards players aged 9-14.  This has been our most popular product for a couple of years, and you’ll get a comprehensive coaching system for this slightly older age group, with:  * 64 Interactive Practice Plans for all levels of youth basketball  * Exactly What to Teach - Offense, Zone Offense, Defense, Press Breakers, Out of Bounds Plays, etc.  * Age-Appropriate Skill Development - Ball Handling, Passing, Shooting, Lay Ups, Footwork, Athletic Development, and More  * Drill Progressions From Beginner to Advanced, so you can optimally teach a variety of skill levels on the same team  * Step-By-Step Instructions, so you can easily progress from beginner concepts to advanced concepts for offense, defense, and skill development.  Whatever age group you’re coaching, we have the solution for you!  We’ll take away all of the guesswork and give you a step-by-step plan to help your players uncover their full potential both on and off the court.  We’re also offering big discounts on BOTH systems until this Sunday, January 21st:  [Click here to learn more about the Beginner Basketball System (for ages 5-9)](  [Click here to learn more about the Youth Coaching System (for ages 9-14)](  All the best,  Mark Brase Breakthrough Basketball  This email was sent to {EMAIL} because you indicated that you'd like to receive emails and updates from Breakthrough Basketball on 2016-12-16 05:42:39.
