Quick reminder that [your 55% discount on the Hybrid Attack Offense]( ends tomorrow. And to help you decide whether this offense is right for your youth team, I want to share a story about WHY I changed to this offense for my children's teams. Two seasons ago, I found my youth teams—2nd/3rd grade and 4th/5th grade recreational squads—struggling on offense. During practice, we focused on universal offensive concepts like spacing, cutting, and passing. But despite our efforts, the ball handler often froze on offense, unsure of how to attack. This led to a LOT of standing around and missed opportunities. With limited practice time (a struggle you know all too well if you’re a youth coach!) and only one hoop available, I realized we needed to ignite the offense with something slightly different. So after watching the offense stall one too many times, I made a small tweak: I instructed the ball handler to immediately attack the rim and encouraged the player on the right wing (where our right-handed kids naturally drifted) to make a basket cut and fill opposite. And this small change sparked big results. Suddenly, our offense became aggressive and dynamic. The players stopped freezing and started attacking the hoop, which created more opportunities for easy baskets, fouls, and offensive rebounds. Even when things got chaotic, it was aggressive chaos rather than tentative, and that was a massive improvement for our youth players. As the season progressed, we stuck with this modified approach, which combined the dribble drive’s attack mentality with the movement principles of motion offense. We ended up making it to the championship game with our older team, despite not having a standout playmaker! We lost by just 7 points to a team that had been blowing out everyone else by 20+, and our kids (and I) walked away incredibly proud of their progress. I took many of the concepts directly from Ryan Schultz’s [Hybrid Attack Offense]( blending the best of dribble drive and motion offense principles to keep the action fluid and the players aggressive. While Coach Schultz had won multiple state championships at the high school level with the Hybrid Attack Offensive System… I had no idea how well it translated to even the youth and middle school levels! I’d love for you to try it with your own team this season. So if you can relate to my struggles as a youth coach: [Get 55% off the Hybrid Attack Offense [Expires Tomorrow]]( All the best, Joe Haefner
