Quick reminder before we get into today’s topic, in just a few hours [the FREE “Sneak Peak” video at the top of the Attack & Counter System product page]( disappears!  I believe it is a must-watch for ALL coaches, parents, and players of ALL levels of basketball.   And while this is the first time we’ve ever shared the entirety of [this specific Attack & Counter skill development video]( we thought it was truly important to see how the pieces fit together. I can’t wait to hear what you think! Alright, onto today’s topic…  While he probably wasn’t talking about basketball at the time, Leonardo da Vinci got it right when he said: “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”  Nowadays, you can find thousands of different scoring moves all over the Internet.  And while that’s a neat feature of the modern world, it also makes it so much harder to determine which ones you should actually teach your players.  Because you can’t teach 47 dribbling moves, 29 triple threat moves, 39 post moves, etc. and expect your players to develop the muscle memory to use them effectively!  Don Kelbick recognized this problem and came up with a unique solution with [his Attack and Counter System [$100 discount available until Sunday]](.  With the approach that he developed, you don’t teach 7 different moves and give it 7 different names….  Instead you teach the player the same footwork move that they can then apply to 7+ different situations.  For example, let’s take the drop step.  Post Move Drop Step - Traditionally, people think a drop step is footwork just used in the post.  Perimeter Move Drop Step - But think about the footwork you use on an aggressive on-ball defender to create space. It’s just a drop step into the defender’s body.  Attack Move Drop Step - What about when you’re driving to the basket, a defender cuts you off and you use a spin move. How is the spin move footwork any different than a drop step?   In fact, the drop step mentality actually gets you less focused on the spin and more focused on getting on a straight line to the basket.  Now instead of teaching your players a whole set of different names and different moves (which slows down learning)...  You say that you just use the drop step in these different situations… which speeds up learning!  Think about when you walk up a flight of stairs… if you go to a slightly different situation with a different flight of stairs, you don’t have to relearn how to walk up them… well, in most cases.  And you might’ve noticed one other thing… If you get great with this footwork in the post, you’ll also be great with it on the perimeter… And vice versa!  Same applies here with coach Kelbick’s Attack & Counter System… he shows you how to simplify the footwork, layer the counters, and connect them to hundreds of different situations.  Before you know it, you’re executing high-level moves without even thinking about it!  Once you master the footwork, the moves become fluid and instinctual. It’s really a thing of beauty to us basketball junkies.  Like we said yesterday in yesterday’s email, it’s one thing to read about Coach Kelbick’s Attack and Counter System… it’s another thing to SEE it!  So we’ve done something we’ve NEVER done before… we’re showing the first part of the Attack & Counter System.  This way, you can start to fully understand how the footwork and mentality all goes together.  You can [view the video at the top of the product page](.  And with Coach Kelbick’s[Attack & Counter Skill Development]( program, you’ll be able to learn exactly how to implement principles like these that have made him one of the most effective basketball development experts– working with players from Olympic gold medalists, NBA 3-point champions, and NBA All-Stars to thousands of collegiate, high school, and youth players too!  This program contains over 50 multi-purpose skill development drills and a comprehensive skill development program for improving mentality, footwork, shooting, ball handling, finishing, post play, perimeter play, guard skills, and more.  And for a limited time, you can get a $100 discount on his entire system!  [Click here to learn more about Coach Kelbick’s “Attack & Counter” system and claim your $100 discount](  All the best,  Joe Haefner Breakthrough Basketball  This email was sent to {EMAIL} because you indicated that you'd like to receive emails and updates from Breakthrough Basketball on 2016-12-16 05:42:39.
