Before we get into today’s content, a quick reminder that [the $50 discount on Coach Huber’s Shooting & Scoring System]( ends tomorrow.  Now, onto a story that shows why a program like this can be so important…  In his sophomore year of high school, Steph Curry took an entire summer off from playing competitive games.  Now why would a player take an entire summer off of the competitive circuit during the most important part of his recruiting process?  The answer for Steph:  He needed to focus on changing his shot–NOT competing in games!  "I really couldn't shoot outside the paint for like the first three weeks," Curry said. "All summer when I was at camps people were like, "Who are you, why are you playing basketball?" I was really that bad for a month and a half [before] I finally figured it out.”  It was a big decision but one that obviously paid off HUGE in the long run.  And that brings me to the #1 mistake most players make with shooting:  They’re impatient!  Quite simply, players and sometimes even coaches want to rush the process.  But the truth is, [developing into an elite shooter]( (especially if you’ve been struggling) takes time.  Frankly, most players aren’t willing to put in the time and effort required…  Which is why most of them never even come close to reaching their potential.  But if you do recognize that shooting improvement is a process that can take a few months, the sky’s the limit for how far you can go.  Because EVERY team is looking for a great shooter.  And if you have that skill, you’ll always have a place on the court.  So what can you do to minimize the frustrations?  First, start early!  The earlier in the offseason you start developing your shot, the less stress you’ll have as you get closer to the season because you’ll be ready.  Second, prepare yourself for the struggle.  Let’s say you shot 30% last year on 3’s.  When you start working on changing your shot, you won’t be a 30% 3 point shooter at first.   You are going to have to take a short term step backwards to take a long term step forwards.  Think about it. . . you’ve shot tens of thousands of shots in your life with your old form. Those habits are deeply ingrained. They won’t be changed overnight.   So be patient. Rome wasn’t built in a day. While it’s hard now, it will be easier later.   And third, make sure you have a strategic plan in place to improve your shooting.  Simply taking more shots won’t work because you won’t change your habits.  That’s why we’re sharing [this $50 discount on the Breakthrough Shooting & Scoring System]( with Coach Jim Huber.  With this program, you’ll have a step-by-step “cheat code” to develop: - Consistent fluid accurate shot - off the catch and off the dribble - Deep range without losing form - Lightning quick release to get higher quality looks - More respect from teammates, coaches and opponents - Ability to create space and get (and make) clean looks with ease - Unshakeable confidence and scoring ability against tough defenders And you’ll do all that while learning from a 20-year coaching veteran who’s worked with dozens of D-I collegiate and NBA players.  So if you want to finally take your shooting to the next level…  [Read more about Coach Huber’s Shooting & Scoring System and claim your $50 discount HERE](  All the best,  Joe Haefner Breakthrough Basketball P.S. Curious what others are saying about Jim Huber and [his Shooting & Scoring System]( Here’s just one of many reviews: “"Jim Huber is a force of nature. Informative, exciting, motivational. It is obvious that Coach Huber not only knows the game inside and out, but he also has the rare ability to break down and teach the most complex idea to every age level."  This email was sent to {EMAIL} because you indicated that you'd like to receive emails and updates from Breakthrough Basketball on 2016-12-16 05:42:39.
