In a letter from his lawyers to Fox, Carlson demands several documents that could precede legal action. His lawyers argue that the noncompete provision in his contract is no longer valid, which could free him to launch his own competing show or media enterprise. Carlson has already announced that he will be bringing his show to Twitter. While this move technically violates his contract with Fox, his lawyers' letter claims that Fox breached the contract first. Carlson's contract with Fox runs until January 2025, but he is reportedly frustrated with being held to it and is considering unleashing allies to pressure the network into letting him work for or start a right-wing rival. Carlson's lawyers accuse Fox executives of breaking promises to him intentionally and with reckless disregard for the truth. The letter also alleges that Fox broke promises not to leak Carlson's private communications to the media and not to settle "in a way which would indicate wrongdoing" on the part of Carlson. Carlson is also claiming that Fox's communications and PR chief attempted to interfere with his future business prospects, which he maintains would constitute another breach of his employment contract. Carlson's lawyers have demanded that Fox preserve all existing documents and data relevant to Fox’s relationship with Carlson, including correspondence between top executives and several media outlets. © BreakingPolls.com | All rights reserved | 2023 [Terms of Use]( I [Privacy Policy]( You are subscribed to this email as {EMAIL}.
