Friend, thank you for helping end hunger. [Bread for the World]( Hi there, Our Winter Membership Renewal Drive ends on Friday! [I hope you will join by renewing your Bread for the World membership with a gift today.]( While you and other Bread members helped us accomplish so much in 2023, there is more we must do in the year ahead to help people struggling with hunger — and seeking Congressional support to fund key hunger programs right now is critical. Millions of families have been driven to hunger due to the high cost of food and housing, global conflicts, and natural disasters. Chronic malnutrition contributes to nearly half of all preventable deaths among children under the age of five. Later this year, our political leaders will turn their attention to the fall election, which will make progress to end hunger even more difficult until next year. But Bread can do what no other organization can. In these divided times, Bread brings our elected leaders together at one table, regardless of political party. We show our leaders that hunger is not a partisan issue — and that solutions can be achieved by working together. Not only that, but policy achievements to support those experiencing hunger are more likely to be lasting solutions when they are created with bipartisan voices coming together. That is unique and important work in these divided times, and it’s only possible because of the faithful support of Bread members — like you. [When you renew your membership today, you’ll join our collective Christian voice urging our leaders to do their part to end hunger.]( Thank you for standing with us as we build the political will to make this possibility a reality. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
