Green as a gourd, I was excited to get to work. I can’t thank the people of my hometown enough for placing their trust in me all those years ago. And I made things happen. I’ve opened up meetings that had been closed to the public for decades, brought high-speed internet to some of the most remote parts of Mississippi, put people back to work, and saved taxpayers over 6 billion dollars.
