{NAME}, On this episode of “Red, Blue, and Brady,” I am privileged to sit down with two fathers who both experienced an unimaginable tragedy: Losing their daughters to gun violence. Fred Guttenberg lost his daughter, Jaime, when she was shot and killed in the 2017 Parkland shooting. Andy Parker lost his daughter, Alison, when she was shot and killed on live television in 2015. These devastating losses are traumatic and still, these fathers were forced into even more heartbreak when the murders of their innocent daughters were called hoaxes. Alison Parker (left) and Jaime Guttenberg (right) both shared a love of dance and performing. Dangerous conspiracy theorists concocted stories about these shootings being staged and spewed hateful language online, causing these fathers even more pain. But Fred and Andy wouldn’t stand by and let their stories and their daughters’ lives be slandered – and they aren’t going to stay silent now as people like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene brings these painful conspiracy theories to the halls of Congress. Fred and Andy are raising their voices once again against conspiracy theories about gun violence tragedies and in honor of their daughters: Two “beautiful, kind souls” who inspired their fathers to do what they do now. And I hope that you will listen to their important message about uplifting the truth above shameful lies. {NAME}, I invite you to listen to this important episode of “Red, Blue, and Brady” where survivors Fred Guttenberg and Andy Parker sit down with me, Kelly Sampson, and Brady President Kris Brown. "Alison had so much promise, just like Jaime, they were robbed. We were robbed, they were robbed." — Andy Parker [This is one of the many important conversations that I have every week.
