Every eligible voter in the United States should be able to cast their ballot safely and without fear. But Donald Trump is recruiting his supporters to act as so-called “poll watchers” and guard polling places. Make no mistake, {NAME}, Trump knows exactly what he is encouraging: armed voter intimidation. The good news is that state officials can act immediately to protect us from guns at polling places. Just days ago, Michigan officials banned the open carry of guns at polling locations on Election Day. But, this is only a small step toward keeping our citizens safe on November 4th, {NAME}. A large majority of states still allow guns to be carried in and around a polling place and it is vital that our state and local officials protect us against armed intimidation. With only 15 days left until election day, time is running out, Friend. We need you to act now and sign our petition to urge officials to make polling places “gun-free zones”. >> [ADD YOUR NAME >>]( Armed intimidation at the polls is voter suppression, plain and simple. Voters of all political leanings must condemn these efforts and join gun violence prevention advocates and voting rights advocates in urging local, state, and federal officials to uphold the integrity of our elections and democracy. We know that armed voter intimidation is not just undemocratic; it's deadly. We need your support NOW to ensure that all Americans are able to cast their ballot safely, securely, and free of intimidation. [{NAME}, will you add your name to our petition today to demand that all polling places and the areas that surround them be made gun-free zones?]( [ADD YOUR NAME >>]( Together, we will win. Hannah --------------------------------------------------------------- About Our #VotingAccessSavesLives Campaign: A partnership with March For Our Lives and Team ENOUGH, our #VotingAccessSavesLives is mobilizing Americans to join the fight for voting access. We believe that in order to prevent gun violence, we need to vote out NRA-bought politicians and elect gun safety champions. But we can't do that if we do not each have access to ballot box! We must each join the fight for a safer America. Learn more and join us at [bradyunited.org/democracy](. [DOUBLE YOUR GIFT NOW]( Our work to prevent gun violence and save lives is possible thanks to the generous support of our donors.
