They’re desperate for a win. That’s why they just filed a lawsuit to keep gun stores open — despite the risk of spreading coronavirus. They tried arguing in a California court that gun stores are “essential” businesses that don’t need to temporarily close to protect public health. But here’s the bad news – they’re not done yet. The NRA is also suing the state of New York to force the governor to keep gun stores open – contrary to the advice of state officials. The NRA will stop at nothing to sell more guns and protect the profits of the gun lobby — even if it puts our communities at risk.
