Just a short time after the state faced one of the deadliest school shootings in history, Texas loosened its restrictions and started allowing anyone over 21 to carry a gun without a permit. Texas Goes Permitless on Guns, and Police Face an Armed Public "A new law allowing people to carry handguns without a license has led to more spontaneous shootings, many in law enforcement say." [With a new wave of anti-gun safety legislation being passed across the country, we need to protect our majorities MORE THAN EVER to fight back. Rush a donation of $10 or more right away to help us win on November 8 →]( [DONATE TO DEFEND OUR GUN SAFETY MAJORITIES]( Just a short time after 21 elementary school students and teachers were viciously murdered with an assault weapon, Texas loosened its restrictions and started allowing anyone over 21 to carry a gun without a permit. It's been two months, {NAME}, and the consequences have been disastrous. Not only have homicide rates increased significantly within Texas borders, but law enforcement officers expect a continued rise in crime. These are just three completely avoidable incidents that have occurred: - A man shot up his Tesla in a fit of rage on the side of the road, endangering bystanders, drivers passing by, and himself. - A woman shot another woman over an argument over a social media video in a parking lot. - And a 21-year-old man walked through an elementary school carrying a pistol during school hours. Texas politicians refuse to pass common sense gun laws like raising the age of carry to 21, but they are actively passing policies that further endanger their own people. We can't continue living like this. It's time to pass common sense gun laws on a federal level and STOP the carnage in our streets. But to do that, we MUST hold our majorities in Congress on November 8. [Will you rush a donation to help us protect our gun safety majorities so we can END gun violence in America?]( Thank you, Brady PAC [Brady PAC]( [Facebook]( [Twitter]( If you prefer to donate by mail, please make checks payable to: Brady PAC, c/o Digital 600 Pennsylvania Ave SE, #15180, Washington, D.C. 20003 Paid for by Brady Pac (bradypac.org) and not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee [You can unsubscribe from this mailing list at any time.](
