We’re SICK and TIRED of empty promises and “thoughts and prayers." [Brady PAC]( 2 minors hurt in shooting at Uvalde Memorial Park – CBS NEWS {NAME}, Last night at the makeshift memorial made for the 21 victims of the Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Texas – and only one mile away from the site of the massacre – two more children became the casualties of gun violence. As dozens of kids played in the Uvalde Memorial Park, shots began to ring out. And almost like instinct, these children – including a 9-year-old survivor of the horrific mass shooting – began ducking and diving to avoid gunfire. Just three months after the horrific tragedy at Robb Elementary School, the community of Uvalde is once again devastated by gun violence. Something must be done to end this carnage. We cannot allow this to be our new normal. [We're sick and tired of opening our phones to this unending news. Enough is enough. Add your name to our petition and DEMAND Congress return to Washington and immediately pass common-sense gun safety legislation to ensure tragedies like this NEVER happen again.]( It is an incredibly SHAMEFUL and PATHETIC reflection on our country that within just months of surviving one of the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history, a child survivor was revictimized by the inescapable gun violence crisis taking over our communities. If our children aren't safe at their schools or their local parks, they aren't safe ANYWHERE. [We’re SICK and TIRED of empty promises and “thoughts and prayers” coming from the same NRA-bought and paid-for extremists making a profit off of the endless terror our children are subjected to every single day. Add your name and demand Congress pass life-saving gun safety legislation NOW.]( Thank you for taking action, Brady PAC [Brady PAC]( [Facebook]( [Twitter]( If you prefer to donate by mail, please make checks payable to: Brady PAC, c/o Digital 600 Pennsylvania Ave SE, #15180, Washington, D.C. 20003 Paid for by Brady Pac (bradypac.org) and not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee [You can unsubscribe from this mailing list at any time.](
