It’s been just about 6 weeks since 21 Uvalde families were shaken to their core and given the worst news of their lives, and here we are, in the wake of another mass shooting, this time in Highland Park, IL. I know what the families of Uvalde and Highland Park are going through – it’s the exact same feeling I had when I found out my daughter Jaime had been murdered by a classmate who should have never had an AR-15. [No one, especially not teenagers and young adults, should ever have access to assault weapons.]( [I’m joining Brady PAC in calling on Congress to immediately take action and ban all assault-style weapons – and I need your help.
