Miller-Meeks' decision to support a government shutdown is reckless and puts our nation at risk. A shutdown would have forced hundreds of thousands of active-duty servicemembers and federal workers to toil without pay, cut critical aid to families and small businesses grappling with high costs, and hindered the economy.
