From my family to yours — happy holidays. This holiday season, I’m grateful to spend time

[Bob Casey for Senate]( From my family to yours — happy holidays. This holiday season, I’m grateful to spend time with my wife Terese, my four daughters, and my two grandsons, who I am proud to be “Bomba” to every day. I have fond memories of when my girls were young during the holidays. Terese and I would have them wait at the top of the stairs so they could all go down and open their presents as a unit — but before that, I would take my time checking to see if Santa Claus was still there while they waited for the “all clear.” Now, we have two grandsons who can join in the festivities. Another one of my favorite Christmas traditions is the cookies. My grandmother used to make my favorite cookie — a ball of cookie dough doused in powdered sugar that we used to call “Swedish meatballs.” Lucky for me, Terese has carried on the tradition of making them for the family and for Santa. I’m grateful for these traditions with my family at the holidays and much more. I’m grateful for the bravery and sacrifices of our service members, many of whom are spending this season away from their loved ones. I’m grateful for the families across Pennsylvania who work hard, care for one another, and make this Commonwealth great. Last but not least, I am grateful for every single person who has joined this team. I cannot continue fighting for the future of Pennsylvania without your support, and we are going to accomplish so much together in the year ahead. Stay warm, take care, and enjoy your holidays. With gratitude, Bob Casey P.S. Before you log off for the holidays, I hope you’ll consider helping our campaign. [We’re facing a major fundraising deadline at midnight on December 31st. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
