Angry and adrift, at the mercy of his whims, Trump campaign spokesperson lashes out at me

{NAME} — you can hear the spitting anger and desperation from Donald Trump’s campaign in their increasingly desperate attacks. As they frantically search for something, anything they can tether to a coherent campaign message with time running out until this election, they picked a familiar target — yours truly. “Shifty Schiff has no right to talk about morals, considering he’s one of the most despicable and disgusting elected officials in Congress.” All because I called Trump out on CNN for flip‑flopping on the fundamental right to abortion — no less than 4 times in 48 hours. His willingness to change his stance every 15 minutes on a matter this serious shows that in addition to opposing women’s reproductive freedoms, he has no moral compass or values at all. He only believes in his own self‑interest. But as Trump’s spokesperson saw it, that wasn’t an indictment of their candidate, but of those willing to confront him — the same old story for Trump’s entire political career.
