We need your support to continue fighting for our democracy. We love having you in our network, but if you no longer wish to hear from us, you can[unsubscribe here](. {NAME}, When Minnesotans swept in a one-seat Democratic governing trifecta last November by a margin of 321 votes, we came together and agreed on two things: First, our mission was to make Minnesota the best place in the country to live, work, and raise a family. And second, that we would use every ounce of our power to make that vision a reality. In other words, we realized we had a one-in-a-generation opportunity to make transformational change, and we weren’t going to let it go to waste. So, while Republicans in other states were banning books, bullying the LGBTQ+ community, and making child labor easier, we got to work protecting the freedoms, safety, and rights of all Minnesotans. We became the first state in the country to codify abortion rights into state law since Roe v. Wade was overturned, banned the harmful practice of conversion “therapy,” made Minnesota a refuge for gender-affirming care, and enacted common sense gun reforms. We put Minnesota on the path to 100% clean energy, passed a budget to give educators the resources they need to teach our children, funded essential projects to rebuild our roads and critical infrastructure, passed universal school meals for Minnesota students, and so much more. The forces of hatred and bigotry are on the march across the country and around the world. But in Minnesota, we came together to make a clear statement: That march stops at our borders. I’m telling you this not to brag (that would be very un-Minnesotan). I’m telling you this because I believe with all my heart that if we come together and rise above the politics of fear and division, every state can be a place where no community is left behind and nobody gets told they don’t belong. [If you are ready to embark on this journey with me as we look to defend and expand on our progress over the coming year and beyond, I’m asking you to join our movement by splitting a donation between my campaign and Blue Amp Action today.]( [DONATE NOW]( I’ve always believed that the point of getting elected isn’t to bank political capital. It’s to burn political capital to improve lives. I’m damn proud of what we’re doing in our state, and not just because we’re showing the people of Minnesota that Democrats are capable of delivering on the promises we make. We’re showing people across this country just how much promise is contained in a progressive vision shared by so many. We’re drawing a roadmap for 49 other states by doing whatever it takes to be a state that works for everyone. And we’re proving that not only can you campaign on compassion and foresight and decency, you can actually govern that way, too. [{NAME}]([, if you’re with me, split a donation that works for you between my campaign and Blue Amp Action today to help us build this movement.]( I’m grateful, Tim Walz [DONATE NOW]( Cliff Schecter President, Blue Amp Action Amplify Good About BlueAmp Action: We cannot sugarcoat the current situation. Right-wing authoritarianism, defeated by a worldwide coalition during WWII, was only in hibernation. Over the past decade it has infected democratic societies--including ours. It is as simple as it is terrifying: What we do now will define the future of our country and world. We at Blue Amp Action are dedicated to liberal, open societies, where reason and science are applied to solve our problems; where civil rights--including voting rights!--are protected for all. We fight for these values every day. Speaking up on our platforms, raising the voices and the political prospects of liberal pols and pundits. So we ask that you support our work, so we can continue to engage in this fight every moment of every day. So our kids grow up in democracy, not dystopia. Thank you for your support for all we do!
