And now, his lies have gotten him into serious legal trouble–a [13 count indictment]( ranging from wire fraud to false statements to theft of public money. From lying about his work history and achievements to lying about being [related]( to Holocaust survivors and [employing PULSE nightclub victims](, it is clear that George Santos is a con artist whose mountain of lies carried him all of the way into a Congressional seat and defrauded voters. And the public has a right to be concerned. As a member of Congress, Santos could have access to classified information and was the final [vote]( to seal the GOP’s destructive debt limit ploy. House Leader McCarthy is already backing off [expulsion](–but that shouldn’t matter. Santos has betrayed his constituents–who have [called]( for his resignation–the American people, and is now facing serious criminal charges. He must resign immediately.
