Hi Welcome to the free SEO training course. In the previous emails, we discussed how to find better keywords and the importance of search intent. In today’s email, we’ll discuss the best FREE tools you can use for keyword research in 2024. We all know how frustrating it is to use Google Keyword Planner. Yes, it’s a free tool for ad keyword research, but it’s NOT accurate. Also, it doesn’t provide you with enough keyword metrics. That’s why I will show you THREE powerful tools you can use absolutely for free to get in-depth keyword data. Let’s get started! 1. Ahrefs Free Keyword Generator Tool We all know that Ahrefs is a paid SEO tool. Do you know that it also offers a free keyword tool called “Keyword Generator”? Yes, it does. [Here’s the link]( to its free keyword generator tool. The best part about this tool is that you can do keyword research for various search engines, including Google, Bing, YouTube and Amazon. Once you’re on the tool, enter any keyword or topic of your choice and it will immediately give you keyword ideas. Here’s what it looks like; As you can see, it will give you the latest keyword suggestions, keyword difficulty score, and search volume for each keyword. You can also click on the “Questions” tab to find a list of question-based keywords for your desired topic. 2. Wordtracker Wordtracker is another powerful tool that allows you to find keywords for free. It gives you access to 3 daily search limits. So, make sure to use those limits wisely. [Here’s the link]( to its free keyword tool. Once you’re on the tool, enter any topic or keyword phrase. And… it will show you a ton of relevant keyword suggestions based on the topic. Have a look; As you can see, Wordtracker gives you more keyword metrics (when compared to Ahrefs free keyword generator), where you can find; - Keyword Suggestions - Search volume - Competition for each keyword - No click searches and more 3. Ubersuggest This is one of my favourite tools. Not only does Ubersuggest offer a free plan but its paid plans are extremely cheap (lifetime plans start only at $120!). [Click on this link]( to try Ubersuggest for free. Once you’re on the website, enter any keyword of your choice and pick a country where your target audience is mostly from. It will ask you to sign in with your Google account (it’s free) and it will immediately show you a list of all the keyword suggestions. Quick note: Similar to Wordtracker, Ubersuggest also offers 3 free daily limits. Here’s what it looks like; As you can see, you’ll find a lot of things, including; - The trend for each keyword - Search volume - CPC value - PD (Paid difficulty for the keyword) - SD (SEO difficulty for each keyword) Also, you can click on the Related, Questions or Prepositions tabs to find more relevant keyword ideas. So there you go! In the next email, we’ll discuss the most important SEO part: CONTENT!
