Hi In the sixth lesson, we discussed how to update outdated and existing content on your blog to get more search traffic. In this email, we’ll discuss how to bring more traffic to your blog using Quora. Why should every blogger use Quora? We all know how important it is to promote a blog to generate more traffic and increase sales. You can’t always depend on search engines like Google. Why? Search traffic takes A LOT of time (at least a year) to bring a decent number of visitors to your site. Here’s where other traffic channels like Quora come into play. Yes, there are a ton of other mediums like Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, etc but Quora is an ultimate traffic channel for most bloggers. Quora can send thousands of visitors to your site if used correctly I’ve been writing on Quora for a few years now and it’s giving me a ton of benefits including; - Targeted visitors to my blog posts - More brand exposure - I got a few sales as well (to some of my affiliate products like Bluehost) - Increased online reach and popularity In fact, my Quora answers generated over 2 million content views. Have a look; Over 2 MILLION content views! That’s amazing, right? So if you’re a blogger looking to promote your blog and generate more views, start writing on Quora. That being said, here are a few tips that work well for me. - Pick the right questions. Most people write A LOT on Quora, but they don’t get enough upvotes (similar to Facebook likes) on their answers. The reason is they either pick questions with too many answers or zero answers. Pick questions that are followed by a lot of people and have fewer answers. - Write as you talk. Don’t use jargon. Use simple words. Use shorter sentences as they tend to work better on Quora. - Use at least one image for every answer you write. You can use platforms like Unsplash to find royalty-free images. Make sure to give image credit to stay safe! - Write at least 400 to 500 words. Don’t write 50 or 100-word answers; include links to your blog posts. It obviously looks like spam. Try to be helpful whenever you answer. Then, link to your posts naturally. - Follow interesting people or bloggers you admire on Quora. See how they write on Quora. You can learn a lot that way. If you’re looking for blogging or SEO advice, you can [follow me on Quora](. Looking for an ULTIMATE guide on Quora to bring more traffic? We’ve written a [FREE guide for bloggers to use Quora]( like a pro. So go check it out. There you go! Quora is an incredible platform to promote your blog posts and build your online reputation as a blogger. It also helps you connect with a ton of like-minded people. So start using Quora and write at least one answer daily for the next 30 days. I guarantee you’ll be amazed by the results. What’s coming up next? Stay tuned for the EIGHTH lesson as you’re going to learn how to use Facebook groups to promote your blog (that comes to your email inbox on Tuesday at 11 AM IST).
