Hello! Shawn here. And welcome to this week’s edition of the 2x2 Newsletter. Your premier Friday email for doing the important work that matters while creating and protecting your free time to enjoy life. I’m so glad you’re here. As always, you will find two resources, tools, or diversions, for you to check out; and then, secondly, are two ideas, stories, or helpful tips. Enjoy! Check this out 1: [I suddenly need a new office]( BRB. Trying to convince my wife that if I had a private, remote office space like this I would be way more productive. 2: [23 small habits]( Anthony Vicino: “Habits are the cheat code to success. The other type is a Lifestyle Goal: a habit or routine that you incorporate into you everyday lifestyle. When setting a new goal in your life, knowing which type of goal can help you to succeed in getting to your desired outcome. 2: Today was a good day, because... Something I mentioned last week is how I’ve been using Day One as my journal app for more than a decade. A few years ago, an approach to journaling that I picked up is this one prompt that makes it very easy to create a Day One entry. And, more often than not, it leads me to continue writing. The approach is to simply finish this sentence: “Today was a good day, because....”. * * * — Shawn  [Simple Habits (half-priced course this month)]( With good habits in place, your life is easier.
