Hello! Welcome to this week’s edition of the 2x2 newsletter. Your premier Friday email for professional creators, freelancers, business owners, and leaders like you who want to manage their tasks, time, and ideas better. Everything I do is to help you get clear and take action. Check this out 1: [How to set up Notion as your primary HQ for ideas, notes, and projects]( A few years ago, my whole team and I switched from Basecamp to Notion, and I’m so glad we did. It has been a fantastic tool for helping us streamline our content calendar, manage ideas, and collaborate. Next week, we’re hosting [a done-with-you workshop to walk you through exactly how you can set up Notion for yourself.]( 2: [How to simplify the email App on your iPhone](If you’re on an iPhone, here are [a few simple tweaks]( you can make to seriously upgrade the default email app. Something to think about 1: Don’t build goals and habits because of FOMO Identify what matters to YOU before you set goals, change your schedule, or start new habits and routines. If you come across a productivity trick or a life hack that promise lasting change — but it doesn’t connected it to your personal values and life vision, then the "productivity trick" or "life hack" is merely skin deep and will not last. 2: Clarity instead of certainty You may have noticed that I am a “maximizer” (in a good way, right!?). For example, when I need to buy a new camping headlamp, I will spend an inordinate amount of time researching to find the exact best one. Well, for most of the bigger areas of life — such as business, relationships, health — when I try to “maximize” every decision, I get stuck overthinking it. Rarely am I absolutely certain of exactly what to do or exactly what the end result will look like. Rest in the fact that all you need is just a little bit of clarity. With a little bit of clarity, you can start moving in the right direction. And once you’re moving, that action and experience will bring about more clarity. * * * — Shawn 👋 Whenever you’re ready, here are 3 ways we can help you up-level your tasks, time, and ideas… 1: [Take the]([free Focus Assessment]( to get a personalized (free) tools and training just for you. 2: Undo your to-do list as you get maximum clarity on your goals, your schedule, and your habits with lifetime access to the self-paced [Focus Course](. 3: [Join our growing Accelerator Membership]( and get your all-access pass to our entire course and resource library, as well as a thriving community.
