Hello friends, Welcome to this week's edition of 2x2. As always, I've got a couple of resources, too

Hello friends, Welcome to this week's edition of 2x2. As always, I've got a couple of resources, tools, diversions, books, tools, toys, or other types of recommendations for you to check out; and then, secondly, are a couple of ideas, stories, or tips from me. Also, as I mentioned in Wednesday’s email, be on the lookout... Something new is coming on June 8. Something my team and I have been working on for 18 months that has been mostly a secret. But in June, that will change. And, between now and then, we’ve got lots of new things in store for you as well. Check this out 1: Apple Notes Pro Tip: Shared folders make sharing notes easier Did you know you can share a whole folder inside of Apple Notes, and then any new note you create within that folder is shared with whoever has access to the folder? This is how my wife and I collaborate on things like grocery shopping, packing for trips, end-of-year giving and shopping, house projects, etc… 2: [Burnout: Modern Affliction or Human Condition?]( An excellent article by Jill Lepore for The New Yorker regarding burnout: "To be burned out is to be used up, like a battery so depleted that it can’t be recharged. In people, unlike batteries, it is said to produce the defining symptoms of ‘burnout syndrome’: exhaustion, cynicism, and loss of efficacy. Around the world, three out of five workers say they’re burned out." Something to think about 1: Three Steps to Being More Productive Identify what you want to do. Plan a time you will do it. Celebrate that you followed through. (And then, repeat.) 2: One weird trick to overcome procrastination Try this: tonight, before you go to bed, set out your clothes for tomorrow. Why? Well, there are many reasons why we procrastinate. One of those reasons is lacking a system of execution. By making the first step of a task or project easier on yourself, then you have step one already decided. It will make it simpler to continue following through. (You can apply the night-time-outfit-trick to any other project or area of your life.) * * * — Shawn P.S. [The top is off!]( [In-Depth App Training for Power Users]( To unsubscribe, click [here](.
