With the deadline for [enrollment in Focus Academy]( coming up on Monday… I wanted to share a strange little quirk I’ve noticed in all of our previous cohorts: The people who get the most out of Focus Academy… …tend to be those who are the most worried they DON’T have time for it. The ones who feel like a 4-week program starting in the middle of January just feels like too much are also the ones who see the most profound results! (One of our alumni, Monica, specifically told me that “the best time to do a course is when you don’t think you have the time for it.”) If that’s you, I want to take a minute to address the most common questions we typically get from anyone struggling to open up a little breathing room in their schedule. Because at the end of the day, I only want you to join us if you’re committed to showing up and fighting to reclaim time and focus for the areas of your life that matter most. But here’s the thing — making that commitment takes a lot less time each week than you’re probably thinking. So without further ado, let’s jump in! 1. How much time does Focus Academy really require? If you can give me 2.5 hours each week, you will walk away with the ability to open up at least that much margin (but likely much more) in your calendar every week going forward. The time you put into Focus Academy is an investment. It will multiply into even more time for the things that matter to you every day for the rest of your life. When you think about it that way, 2.5 hours per week is pocket change. It’s a single Friday night binge watching session. It’s a couple days’ worth of mindless social media scrolling. It’s those two meetings on your calendar that you know are going to be a waste of time anyway. 2.5 hours is all it takes for you to attend our live training session each Monday and complete the implementation exercises in your workbook for the week. (Side note: If you choose you can also go beyond that, and elect to show up for our live Q&A calls on Fridays with any questions, jump into the bonus Pro workshops on Wednesdays, and meet with your small group masterminds on Thursdays. But the Monday session + weekly implementation tasks are the most essential.) 2. What if I fall behind? Then no problem! One of the reasons I love the live format of Focus Academy rather than self-paced online courses is that, honestly, people rarely end up falling behind. Completion rates of Focus Academy have been, on average, 15x higher than the self-paced Focus Course. For one, it’s extremely helpful to have everything pre-loaded into your calendar, so that all you have to do is show up. Secondly, the secret sauce of the community. When there is a cohort of other folks all going through the material together, it really becomes a game changer. Focus Academy is for those who: - Want to set aside a few hours per week so that they can ensure they actually go through the material (instead of having access to yet another course that collects digital dust) - Want to get direct coaching from me (plus my team) to help - Want to have the accountability and motivation that comes from going through the same material with a small community of others for a short period of time But... if something does come up and you do fall behind, no problem. All the sessions are recorded and you will have lifetime access to them. You will also get access to the alumni-only Slack community. 3. Will the workshops be recorded? Yes! While attending live is best (and allows for direct interaction), you will also have quick access to all recordings so you can easily catch up if a non-negotiable conflict keeps you away. Even the Friday Q&A calls (which often contain some of the biggest insights from the community) are recorded, along with the Wednesday Pro workshops. You’ll get lifetime access to all recordings. 4. I already have a plan and goals in place for 2022 — will I just be doing that all over again in Focus Academy? There’s a reason we’re making the theme of this cohort Follow Through in 2022… It’s not just about setting goals and making plans — it’s about giving you the tools to actually stay focused and committed as you implement them throughout the year (and beyond into the rest of your life). More importantly, if you come into Focus Academy with goals in mind, you’ll be able to ensure they properly tie into the overall vision for your life and the things you truly value most right now. That step alone will dramatically increase your chances of following through on them. 5. What makes Focus Academy different from other options out there? If you are already familiar with our Digital Planner, Plan Your Year, or other productivity courses... then you will LOVE Focus Academy. In Focus Academy, we take you deeper into the core curriculum of the Focus Course — while my team and I personally coach you through implementing it in a community setting. You don’t have to worry about finding time in your calendar to actually go through the material. We tell you what to do and when to do it. You don’t have to worry about getting stuck or falling off track. You’ll have a team and community to hold you accountable. It’s the most effective format for getting results we’ve ever created. 6. Is it really risk free? Yes! Because I want this to be an easy decision for you. I realize that it can be scary to commit to something without being positive of your end results. Which is why I am glad to offer a full refund to anyone who doesn't get value during their Focus Academy experience. If you join Academy, watch the coaching sessions, and do the workbook...but you find that it wasn't worth your investment or you don't see the benefits and results you were looking for...then just let us know within 30 days from the end of Academy and we will give you a full refund! It’s zero risk on your part! So that’s it. * * * At this point, you should have everything you need to know for how Focus Academy can unlock the margin, balance, and, most importantly, the results you’d like to achieve this year. If you think it can, then I look forward to sending your onboarding info over soon. Just make sure to [enroll and save your spot]( before we close the doors on Monday. 👉 [Here’s your link sign up now.]( See you soon! — Shawn P.S. Next time we open enrollment in Focus Academy, the price will be higher to accommodate all the upgrades we’ve been making to the experience over the last year. That means this current cohort offers the best price you’ll ever be able to get!
