Hello my friends, Welcome to this week's edition of 2x2. We are smack in the middle of kicking off the fall cohort of Focus Course Academy, and so far it has been [fantastic](. I absolutely love getting to do these trainings. And if you missed us this time, I hope you'll jump in on the next one. The next Academy will probably be around the end of January 2022. Anyway, as always, below are a couple of diversions, books, tools, toys, or other types of recommendations for you to check out; and then, secondly, are a couple of ideas, stories, or tips from me. Enjoy! Check this out 1: [iPhone 13](.... camera-love or mini-sized? As I always do, I watched the Apple Keynote with a sandwich. For those who've been asking: No, I will not be upgrading to anything. Yes, the new cameras inside the iPhone 13 Pro look absolutely incredible ... but for me, the form factor of the iPhone Mini is more important than the internal camera. And so, I'll be keeping my 12 Mini another year and hoping that in time, it gets an epic camera upgrade as well. 2: [Kinfolk Interviews François Halard]( The interior photos in this interview of Halard's home are fantastic. You can find more of Halard's photography [here]() (I think the shots in both the [Architecture]( and [Maison de Verre]( collections are especially fantastic.) Something to think about 1: [10 Concepts from the Focus Course]( This is a Twitter thread about focus, productivity, goals, habits, and work/life balance. 2: The Junk Drawer Calendar? A junk drawer is a drawer designated for the storage of various miscellaneous, small, occasionally useful items of little value. Do you ever feel as if your calendar or list of responsibilities has also become filled with various miscellaneous, small, occasionally useful tasks of little value? * * * — Shawn P.S. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
