Hey all, Welcome to this week's edition of 2x2. As always, I've got a couple of resources, tools, diversions, books, tools, toys, or other types of recommendations for you to check out; and then, secondly, are a couple of ideas, stories, or tips from me. Check this out 1: [Bring your popcorn: I am switching from Ulysses to Obsidian, LIVE]( I have been a long-time user of Ulysses. But this Monday, Mike is going to help me migrate over to Obsidian. (I have intentionally stayed away from Obsidian for the last 2 months solely for the opportunity to set it up in a live stream.) So bring your popcorn and a drink of choice, and RSVP here to get the link to the live stream. 2: [The 1 + 1 = 3 Method]( Love this approach for how to connect dots and have unique ideas around a specific problem. Something to think about 1: Progress Naturally Creates Complexity Every now and then, we have to come back to center and edit things, cut things, etc. For example, weeding and pruning your vegetable garden does not mean you're doing the garden wrong ... it means you have something that is producing life. But you still have to weed and prune. Simplicity does not happen by default, it happens by design. 2: Speaking of Complexity... Work will always expand to fill up all the time you give it. For example: We were working on our new [Obsidian course]( for nearly 6 months, and yet even still... several of us had to put in a few hours on the weekend and a few late nights in a row to get all the final details wrapped up before shipping. * * * — Shawn P.S.
