Hey all, Welcome to this week's edition of 2x2. As always, I've got a couple of resources, tools, diversions, books, tools, toys, or other types of recommendations for you to check out; and then, secondly, are a couple of ideas, stories, or tips from me. If you enjoy this new format, let me know. What are some things you think should be linked in here or some questions you'd like to see answered? Check this out 1: [Five Useful Questions]( Some questions from Seth Godin to help you get your projects, tasks, and calendar back on track. 2: Inputs & Outputs (Personal Knowledge Management) If you think and/or create for a living, There are few things more frustrated than having your notes and ideas scattered all over the place. We have written a lot about [apps]( and [workflows]( for this stuff. Another great article I came across a while ago is this [PKM primer by André Chaperon](. Something to think about 1: Excitement is contageous A few weeks ago I shared a thought about how "if you're bored, you'll be boring." Thanks to some feedback from a couple readers (Hey Trent and Nathaniel), I wanted to share an inverse way of framing the sentiment about boredom: “If you are excited and engaged with what you’re doing, the people around you and your audience will also be excited and engaged.” 2: Boredom isn't bad Boredom in and of itself isn’t a bad thing. In fact, boredom can help create and cultivate fresh ideas. Because of our smartphones and our constant connections, these days we must choose to be bored. But there is a difference between moments of boredom where we allow our minds to rest and be in solitude, versus a complete lack of interest in our work over an extended season of time. * * * — Shawn P.S.
