Hello Friends, Welcome to this week's edition of 2x2. As always, I've got a couple of resources, too

Hello Friends, Welcome to this week's edition of 2x2. As always, I've got a couple of resources, tools, diversions, books, tools, toys, or other types of recommendations for you to check out; and then, secondly, are a couple of ideas, stories, or tips from me. Check this out 1: WWDC week As always, I watched the WWDC keynote with a sandwich. [There are several amazing announcements](, and the two that stood out the most to me were the improvements to Apple's Notes app and the new [Focus modes](. 2: [Fujifilm's Instant Camera]( I bought this camera last summer and it’s a blast. I regularly bust it out at parties and have friends take silly pictures that they can take home and put on their fridge. Or, another fun use-case was at the end of 2020 when my family and I were cleaning up our Christmas decorations. We went through a box of film taking photos of everyone in the family and then put them into an envelope as a one-year time capsule so that next year when we get out all our 2021 Christmas decorations we’ll have some old photos to look at for fun. Something to think about 1: If you’re bored, you’ll be boring I was driving a 15-passenger van up into the Colorado mountains for [a mastermind retreat](. Scott Young was sitting behind me, and I overheard him say this nugget about doing creative work online. Scott said: “The single most important thing you need in your business is compelling content. And thus, the worst thing you can be is bored and boring." 2: Brief Thoughts on the M1 MacBook Air A few months ago I bought an M1 Air, and it’s amazing. The combination of speed and battery life is just wild. Two thumbs up; would recommend. I'm typing on it right now. This Air so much faster than my intel iMac. And because I am spending so much time in Notion, the Air relieves a lot of friction from my iPad. In short, this new Air has become my primary device. And the main apps I’m using these days on it are Ulysses, Things, Notion, Keynote, Slack, and Zoom. * * * — Shawn P.S. I'm now half-way through [Andy Weir's new novel]( from last week, and I can't put it down. [In-Depth App Training for Power Users]( To unsubscribe, click [here](.
