Hey all, Welcome to an experiment. This email is a new idea for a format that I might send out from time to time. It's called 2x2. The 2x2 stands for: a couple of resources, tools, diversions, books, tools, toys, and other recommendations for you to check out; and then, secondly, are a couple of raw ideas or tips from me. I'd love to know what you think. Check this out 1: [The skill of endurance]( During our last company sabbatical just a few weeks ago, Isaac Smith (my Production Director) qualified for the Boston Marathon. Huge! And [in his post]( talking about all the work that it took in order to train and qualify, he shared this: “Consistency requires accountability, commitment to the process, and patience. Endurance is a skill that can be learned.” [2: Magic Fiber, Microfiber cloths]( These are the best little cloths I've ever used for cleaning my eye glasses or my laptop screen. I keep them stashed all over the house and in my cars and at my office. Something to think about 1: Words you can say to help you focus No. Nope. No thanks. Not at this time. Nuh-uh. Nah. Sorry, but no. 2: Vision and Mission Without a clear idea of your own core values and the things that drive your decisions and motivation, then your schedule will reflect what someone else wants from you, rather than what you want for yourself. The three primary areas of your life that all need a clear direction: Your business, your family, and your self. * * * — Shawn P.S. Another thought on the "2x2" name is how it is related to [woodworking](. As you may know, woodworking is one of my favorite hobbies. Thus, in this context, the 2x2 name also represents craftsmanship, focus, projects, details, and even [time for resting well](. [In-Depth App Training for Power Users]( To unsubscribe, click [here](.
