Hello! Shawn here. And welcome to this week’s edition of the 2x2 Newsletter. Your premier Friday email for doing the important work that matters while creating and protecting your free time to enjoy life. I’m so glad you’re here. Check this out 1: [Seabiscuit]( Last week I finished reading [Unbroken]( by Laura Hillenbrand and it was absolutely fantastic. An incredible story. So I instantly ordered her other popular book, [Seabiscuit](. I just started it on Tuesday and I can’t put it down. She’s just a phenomenal writer and storyteller. 2: [Productivity Cheat Code]( Loved this article from Josh on why knowing how you work best is a cheat code for better productivity. Something to think about 1: Confidence Comes From Competence In an interview about personal finances, Ramit Sethi shared that “the way you get confident is through competence. In order to be competent, you have to learn the basic language of money.” Ditto with managing your time, planning your week, and running your business with focused clarity. The more you do it (growing in competence and experience), the more confident you become. 2: Schedule One Thing Perhaps one of the most impactful “productivity tricks” that I employ is this: - Decide one thing that is most important to do during my day. - Decide when I’m going to do it. * * * — Shawn P.S. Next week I'm hosting a casual Q&A to share more info about the business program I leading in May to help you run your full-time business on a part-time schedule.
