#BelieveintheBx Friends and Family, The Bronx is my home. This is my community. The Bronx is where I grew up and I am committed to seeing The Bronx thrive. I BELIEVE in The Bronx. [On Giving Tuesday, I am focused on The Bronx Community Relief Effort, an organization that is dedicated to improving the welfare of The Bronx. I hope that you will consider making a donation to them today.]( During the past year, I have seen what COVID and the pandemic of poverty have done to The Bronx. I saw the need for meals in our community when helping World Central Kitchen deliver food desperately needed by so many. I saw the weary and committed eyes of the nurses and health care workers dedicated to helping our sick community members. I watched the dedication of teachers committed to finding ways to help their students in need of technology to make schooling at home more equitable. The Bronx Community Relief Effort is continuing this work. Your donation of $100 this Giving Tuesday provides 250 PPE Masks. A donation of $250 provides 25 people meals. $500 provides groceries to a family for two weeks. And a donation of $1000 is a Chromebook and internet access for a student to study at home. [All donations add up to helping our community. If you are able, please consider investing in The Bronx by contributing any amount, big or small, to The Bronx Community Relief Effort today.]( We are in this together for The Bronx.
