[Black Voters Matter logo]( Hi Friend, We hope this message finds you well and filled with the same energy and enthusiasm that fueled our recent #WeFightBack Convening in South Carolina! From engaging dialogues to grassroots organizing, we wrapped up an inspiring week with community canvassing and a joyous BBQ. A huge thank you goes out to our local and national partners, community members, students, and our dedicated staff for their incredible contributions.  As we reflect on the success of our Convening, we recognize that it's not just about a political candidate – it's about us, the collective power of Black voters. This event was a milestone for South Carolina's Black voters, but more importantly, it serves as a template for a nationwide movement. The work continues, and we invite you to stay tuned for our upcoming 2024 Bus Tour Schedule – catch the Blackest Bus in America on the road! Volunteer, donate, and be part of the action as we drive change together.  Our efforts at the Convening addressed crucial issues faced by Black communities in South Carolina, including racist gerrymandering and attacks on racial justice. We emphasized the importance of ranked choice voting, delved into uncensored political conversations under the Take the Field initiative, and provided a platform for young Black voters to express their concerns.  As we dive into the month ahead, let's remember: We Aren't Just History! We are the present and the future, and together, We Fight Back! Your support is crucial in sustaining this momentum and driving change. To contribute and be part of this transformative journey, please consider making a donation today.
