We're gathering Black leaders, grassroots champions, people of faith, social justice warriors, and HBCU scholars to shape the future of grassroots organizing in this pivotal year. [Black Voters Matter logo]( Hi Friend, We're live in Charleston, South Carolina, as we kick off our empowering 2024 "We Fight Back" event from January 25-28! We're gathering Black leaders, grassroots champions, people of faith, social justice warriors, and HBCU scholars to shape the future of grassroots organizing in this pivotal year. Being the site of the nation's inaugural Democratic Presidential Primary, South Carolina commands attention, emphasizing the power and influence of Black voters. By giving priority to a state with a substantial Black population, the aim is to magnify the voice of this vital demographic in the early primary stages. The proposed changes intend to rectify historical disparities, ensuring that Black voters prominently shape the Democratic nomination process. Our upcoming three-day event is dedicated to amplifying South Carolinian voices on critical issues, including the economy, healthcare, reproductive rights, voting legislation, environmental justice, education, and the student debt crisis. If you can't join us in person, you can still be a crucial part of our mission. Your contribution enables us to reach and engage Black voters, amplifying their voices in critical areas like the economy, healthcare, voting rights, and more. Every donation makes a direct impact on our year-round initiatives. [DONATE NOW]( Let's unite, fight back, and shape the future together!
