Join Us On The Ground For Our Upcoming Mississippi Get Out The Vote Civil Rights Bus Tour Hi Friend,

Join Us On The Ground For Our Upcoming Mississippi Get Out The Vote Civil Rights Bus Tour [Black Voters Matter logo]( Hi Friend, Join Us On The Ground For Our Upcoming Mississippi Get Out The Vote Civil Rights Bus Tour Tomorrow, we are hitting the road in Mississippi where we will be visiting many significant historical civil rights locations, including the Delta area, where pivotal voting rights battles unfolded in the 1950s and 1960s. At these historic sights, we'll reflect on our history while confronting the challenges we face today. At the heart of this tour, we’ll have a rally where you'll have the opportunity to hear from civil rights veterans such as Dr. Leslie McLemore and Rev. Michael Jossell on how we can mobilize together and inspire change ahead of the upcoming election on November 7th. If you can’t join us on the road, you can also get election-ready online! Check out all the incredible work we have been up to below: - In the NC Piedmont Region, our State Organizing Manager, Alicia Cook, and our Regional Piedmont Organizer, Aniyah Vines, recently convened representatives from Rowan, Mecklenburg, and Guilford counties discussed crucial topics like NC legislation, upcoming events, and our GOTV plans. - Meanwhile, in Lafayette, Louisiana, our partner, Chad Landry, provided rides to the polls during the statewide primary election and distributed food to those in need, thanks to El'Sidos Restaurant. Our dedicated partners played a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth voting process. - In Monroe, Louisiana, we reignited voter motivation, especially among students, thanks to our dedicated teen canvassers. But our work is far from over. Your generous donations fuel our local work on the ground and we need your support to continue powering all of our initiatives.
