In Mississippi, we hosted the MedEx Forum to discuss the need for Medicaid expansion. Help Us Stop the Hostile Takeover of Houston’s Independent School District Right now, Texas government officials are planning a hostile takeover of the state's largest school district, which raises concerns and questions about who ultimately has control over Houston’s classrooms. This takeover is a politically motivated, irresponsible experiment that will ultimately worsen inequities across the district. This takeover could impact everything from educational policies, curriculums, teachers, resource allocation, and more. Join the fight by either joining us for an upcoming Texas Education Agency meeting or signing the petition now.
