All across the South, key runoffs are happening over the next couple of weeks. [Black Voters Matter logo]( Hi Friend, All across the South, key runoffs are happening over the next couple of weeks. From Georgia to Louisiana to Mississippi, critical runoff elections will be taking place. In Georgia and Louisiana, early voting is starting as soon as this weekend, making it crucial that we prepare our communities to get out and vote now. The Black vote is going to be essential in determining the outcome of these elections, which is why it is so important that our communities feel empowered and prepared to head to the polls. Check out the information below to learn more about how to get out and vote over the next couple of weeks in all three states.  Georgia  In Georgia, early voting starts this weekend and continues throughout the week next week. If you can’t get to the polls during early voting you can also go vote on Election Day, December 6th.  Interested in getting out the vote in Georgia? [Sign up to text with BVM]( as we send over 2.5 million text messages to Black voters! [REGISTER NOW]( Additionally, if you are interested in helping get voters to the polls ahead of Election Day, our friends at the Asian American Advocacy Fund are looking for volunteers! If you are a Korean, Vietnamese, Mandarin, or other asian language speaker, we urge you to sign up to volunteer to be a translator for voters. You can sign up by emailing volunteer@asianamericanadvocacyfund.org today.  Louisiana  In Louisiana, early voting starts this weekend and continues throughout next week until December 3rd. If you can’t get to the polls during early voting next week you can also go vote on Election Day, December 10th.  Mississippi  In Mississippi, Election Day is in just 6 days! Make sure you get to the polls on November 29th to cast your ballot.   Powering our movement through the runoffs Over the next few weeks, we are continuing to roll through cities and counties in Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi to engage, empower and unite Black voters to get back to the polls during this runoff election. We partnered with Black farmers to deliver collard greens, turkeys, canned goods and more. We will be making several stops at the end of this week to canvas and educate voters ahead of the runoff election.
