Now, as the Senate returns from summer recess and momentum builds around [a new voter rights bill]( this week, BVM is out in full force in our nation’s capital to demand our leaders take action. Today, BVM’s National Field Director, Wanda Mosely, was featured as part of the Black Women & Allies Call to Action for Voting Rights & Reproductive Justice, who gathered on the steps of the Supreme Court to call for immediate action on topics affecting Brown and Black communities. Organizers, advocates and leaders from a wide swath of backgrounds came together at the event to share a collective message and call to action from Black women leaders and allies to elevate, engage and promote their voices in calling for Congress to pass federal voting rights reform and develop a legislative remedy to protect reproductive rights for women and all people! The Forum will focus on debates and discussions on how to rebuild and strengthen democracy around the world as well as ideas on tackling inequalities during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as environmental and technological sustainability. LaTosha will join a panel on Sept 16 with other experts titled Towards Polycentric Governance: Building Room for Democratic Experimentalism in the Political, Urban and Corporate World.
