The power is within us already y'all, transformation continues when we use it. "I believe that Black people have enough power to flip the whole country. I think that Black people have enough power to flip the world. I think that Black people have enough power to actually make a transformation in the universe.” Our co-founder, LaTosha Brown was featured [in Shondaland this week]( where she spoke on the concept of power and the transformative potential that Black people hold. The discussion made it clear: there is still so much work to be done. As a new administration steps in, [states scramble to pass laws that make voting harder]( for Black folks. But, in the spirit of Black History Month, LaTosha’s words speak to our truth: we have always faced overwhelming adversity and yet, as we harness our power more and more, we are [transforming the world](. As we celebrate those Black visionaries who paved the way before us this month, LaTosha’s words can set the tone for the continued path forward. Our moment of transformation is here, so long as we continue to utilize our power. Today it’s becoming aware of state and local elections, tomorrow it’s demanding equal voting rights, criminal justice reform and seating Black folks in positions of power. The power is within us already y'all, transformation continues when we use it. #WeGotThePower TODAY @ 4p EST: Resilience Building with Cliff Are you passionate about understanding and addressing economic disparity in Black communities?
