There's a special brand of fear you feel as a girl with strict religious parents. I got a tattoo the other day and was still worried about what my parents would think. One thing I like about her story is how she’s putting in so much work to navigate difficult situations better and generally be a better person. I see it because of how close we are and even more than she mentions in the story. Really proud of her.
