Which most would argue is an oxymoron. Also, her relationship with her religious mum and how the woman just unheard the subtle reveal of her holy daughter's sexuality. It was very much giving Nigerian mother. I lowkey think it's because she's suppressing her sexuality for religion that she's depressed, but that may be oversimplifying things. She didn't mention therapy for the depression, though. Did it sound like she'd be open to that? It didn't seem like something she's even remotely considered. The thing is, she actually believes her relationship with God is helping her manage everything well. She seemed quite content, if a tad bit sad.
