We are currently in Mali â the 11th country. Before we got here, we experienced the regular stress of crossing the border Senegal-Mali border like we did in [Liberia]( [Guinea Bissau]( and every other border. But there was more at the Mali Border: a blatant refusal to let us in because the officials didnât trust our motives. WHAT? Good olâ jolly people like us? That could have been the end of Jollof road if we didnât get a kind of breakthrough that you just might know a little something about. Find out what it was in our [64th journal here.](
Ever wondered how much of fuel Black would need to survive on a typical border-crossing trip? [This journal]( should give you a good idea â we almost ran out of fuel and fantasized about walking to the nearest village to find fuel. Welp.
