The Bicycling test team collectively pulls together our list of the best Gear of the Year each year. These products were ridden by our editors on trails and roads all over the United States (and sometimes globally). The items the test team selected represent the 40 best products we rode and used over the past 12 months. Our 2023 list also included Bicyclingâs test editorsâ 10 personal picks for canât-live-without cycling gear. My selections included Velocioâs super-comfortable Concept Bib Shorts and HandUp Regular Gloves. However, I used lots of different equipment for road, gravel, and mountain bikes over the last twelve months. I also tested a bunch of new tools, tried new car racks, and wore an assortment of shoes and clothing. Below are ten more of my favorite items for 2023âthey didnât make Bicyclingâs Gear of the Year feature but are worthy of consideration and your hard-earned dollars.
