You might be under the belief that green smoothies or green juicing is one of the healthiest things you can do... especially since all of these green juice "cleanses" and detoxes are all the rage these days. Unfortunately, it's not that simple, and there are dangerous levels of certain compounds in these green smoothies and green juices that you need to be careful of as we'll look at in this quick email today⦠Problem #1 with green smoothies/juices:  If the green juice or green smoothie contained cruciferous veggies such kale, arugula, broccoli, or cabbage then you might be overconsuming a toxic heavy metal called Thallium that can cause strange conditions such as patchy skin issues, hair loss, nausea, Neuropathy, digestive issues, and more. Problem #2 with green smoothies/juices: Next, consuming excess quantities of cruciferous veggies blended or juiced into a green smoothie or green juice could also give you an excess intake of goitrogens, which are compounds that can harm your Thyroid if you over consume them.  This is particularly bad for people that already have Hashimotos or hypothyroid. Problem #3 with green smoothies/juices: The next problem is that when consuming green smoothies or juices with large amounts of spinach or beet greens (or certain other dark greens) is that you can overload your body with toxic levels of oxalates which can cause kidney stones, joint pain, thyroid issues, and digestive system damage. The problems caused by oxalates can be made worse if the smoothie is made with almond milk, which is also excessively high in oxalates too. There are even thousands of case studies where people had to go to the ER for kidney failure after drinking too many green smoothies or green juices (daily use, or a "cleanse" which uses large amounts of the drink for days at a time) Many people also experience loose stools or diarrhea from drinking green smoothies and juices, and this can be caused by some of the damage being done by excess oxalates or other problematic antinutrients in greens. Now let's take a look at a fun little quiz below and a few more foods... Broccoli vs Spinach vs Green Beans... (the #1 WORST veggie for your gut & energy) According to the best-selling author and world-renowned heart surgeon, Dr. Steven Gundry, thereâs one veggie people over 40 should never eat. This veggie can damage your gut and disrupt your hormones... It contains a toxin that damages the lining of your intestines, causes bloating, embarrassing gas, and a bulging belly. Do you know the veggie Iâm talking about? Make sure you do by clicking the one below you think it is, and get the answer from Dr. Gundry himself on the next page: [>> Green Beans >> Broccoli >> Spinach >> Cauliflower]( In health and happiness, [Isabel De Los Rios]  ____ Disclaimer: As a reminder you are receiving this 100% free newsletter as an added bonus for signing up or purchasing an item from us.
