Interview with Beyond Diet Member View email online [click here]. [Emailheader2016] Ready for inspiration overload? Today’s email is a little different than you’re used to, that’s because I’m sharing Edna’s story, a Beyond Diet member, who in her 50’s, has lost almost 50 pounds! And she’s spilling her secrets in a recent interview. Doesn’t she look like she feels amazing! [Edna before and after small] What made you decide to start Beyond Diet? “I was tired of diets that just want you to lose weight fast, so you think they work, but at the end you gain the weight back or even double your weight… after you lose a lot of money. I did my research and liked the simple way this program is put together. It’s simple to follow and is well nutrient-balanced.” How do you get your family involved in the Beyond Diet lifestyle? "My daughter was the first one to see changes in me – waking up with a lot of energy. She also got into the program even though she doesn’t need to be lose weight. Her energy is up and her condition is more stable. I am so happy for her." How has your body changed since your lifestyle change? "When I found the program I was 180 pounds, but I didn’t start right away so I gained even more weight and was close to 200 pounds when I actually started. Right now I am at 155 pounds. That was my initial goal. I know I want to lose more fat, but I also want to gain more muscle, so my goal is to be a healthy 54-year-old at 150 pounds." What foods do you ALWAYS have in your kitchen? "I always have what I have identified as my lifesaver for cravings: quinoa. I cook quinoa and it can be kept for a few days. You can prepare it like rice or oatmeal. I am a Protein Type, so I have a lot of types of protein too – almonds, almond butter, eggs, turkey bacon, chicken, salmon, or turkey." Want to hear the rest of Edna’s story?
