Got a sweet tooth? You’ll love this deliciously healthy recipe (no cooking required!) {NAME} — we all have our weaknesses… And for me, it’s breakfast food. There’s nothing I love more than a fat stack of chocolate chip pancakes… A plate of waffles oozing with butter and maple syrup… Or even a warm, fresh baked muffin. (What can I say, I have a major sweet tooth!) But of course, these sugar bombs have no place in a healthy diet. Not to mention, they can be absolutely horrendous for your skin. When you eat too much sugar, your body actually produces enzymes that break down collagen and elastin… Meaning an excessively sugary diet can be responsible for wrinkles and sagging! So it’s no surprise I’ve had to find some ways around my sweet tooth… And today, I’m sharing one of my absolute favorite “sneaky sweet” finds with you. I call it my “Skin Plumping Parfait.” I love how this easy-to-make dish “tricks” my taste buds into thinking I’m eating a sugary treat… When in reality, I’m nourishing my body (and skin) with tons of healthy vitamins! Plus, it requires no actual cooking… Making it the perfect meal for a busy, on-the-go morning. So here it is, the recipe for my Skin Plumping Parfait:  When you’re ready, simply give the image above a click. From there, you can download it to your computer for easy access, or print it out and add it to your recipe collection. Now this recipe’s “plumping power” comes from several sources… The first of which is Greek yogurt. See, Greek yogurt is loaded with amino acids — a necessary component for collagen production. The more collagen in your skin, the plumper it looks! Of course, this wouldn’t be a parfait without a heaping handful of berries. Like Greek yogurt, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries also help promote collagen synthesis thanks to their high vitamin C content… But their benefits don't stop there. Red and blue berries are widely known for their incredible antioxidant properties — which help combat the skin-aging effects of oxidative stress like sun damage and pollution. Next on this skin-loving list of ingredients is chia seeds. These small but mighty seeds are chock full of omega-3 fatty acids. (In fact, chia seeds are the best known plant-based source of omega-3 fatty acids out there!) This is incredibly important for the health and youthfulness of your skin, as omega-3 fatty acids can improve your skin’s ability to retain wrinkle-smoothing moisture. And lastly, I can’t talk about this parfait without mentioning the hearty pistachios on top… Because not only are pistachios among the lowest calorie nuts... They also have incredibly high levels of biotin, a nutrient commonly used in supplements to promote healthy hair and nails… And vitamin E, which just so happens to be one of the most popular ingredients in anti-aging skincare products. So the next time you’re craving a little something sweet for breakfast (or heck, anytime of the day)... Give this delicious parfait a try. Because why compromise when you can eat something that’s absolutely delicious… And helps your skin look younger, plumper, and more radiant in the process?
