This tastes like a tropical getaway in a glass. OH! And it's GREAT for your skin ;) Hi {NAME}, The sweltering summer heat is officially here! After a busy day, my wife Kendhal and I LOVE keeping cool with a delicious homemade smoothie. But hereâs the thing â we donât make just any old smoothie⦠Our go-to smoothie can help skin stay happy, hydrated, and healthy. Because letâs be honest, the summer heat can negatively impact your skin (and Iâm not just talking about sunburns either). High temperatures can cause your body to lose water faster than usual⦠which, if youâre not careful, could result in dehydrated skin. And trust me, dehydration is not kind to your complexion. It leads to dull skin that draws attention to fine lines and wrinkles. So since summer is in full swing, I wanted to share my favorite skin-hydrating smoothie recipe with you. This tropical treat makes you feel like youâre lounging on a private beach in Maui. Plus, itâs PACKED with vitamins, antioxidants, and nutrients to keep your skin cool and nourished in the scorching summer heat:

Add all the ingredients into your blender. 2. Then turn the blender on and blend until smooth 3. Pour your smoothie into a glass. 4. And enjoy! (For an extra dash of flair, garnish it with a pineapple slice and mini umbrella)
{NAME}, this smoothie really does taste like a tropical getaway⦠and you donât even have to leave your house! But it doesnât just taste like paradise â itâs also crafted to help keep your skin feeling smooth, supple, and hydrated no matter how high temperatures rise. For starters, coconut water brings an island feel and boosts your hydration. This is thanks to electrolytes like sodium, calcium, and magnesium that help maintain the proper fluid balance in your body. Pineapple is a fruit I absolutely love. Itâs sweet, citrusy, and rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber. It also contains the powerful digestive enzyme bromelain. Bromelain supports digestion and has been shown to reduce the look of redness and puffiness on your skin. Now bananas, in my opinion, are a smoothieâs secret weapon. They instantly make a smoothie thicker to improve texture. Bananas are also an excellent way to prevent dehydration because theyâre high in potassium, which youâre often deficient in when dehydrated. Oranges are jam-packed with vitamin C, which helps your body produce collagen â and collagen maintains your skinâs elasticity and firmness. I try to put spinach in every smoothie I make because it supercharges the health benefits⦠and donât worry, you wonât even taste it (talk about a delicious and easy way to get your vegetables in). Spinach is rich in skin-boosting vitamin A which can help protect skin from UV radiation and improve skin tone. Plus, spinach is nearly all water, so it gives you an extra boost of hydration. And to top things off, I added a little Greek yogurt to give the GI system a pick-me-up. Because did you know if youâre having digestion problems, your skin is usually one of the first places youâll see the effects? Greek yogurt is a probiotic-rich food that promotes a healthy balance of good bacteria in your gut â meaning you can experience smoother digestion and a clearer, more radiant complexion. Now, the ice is completely optional. But I like to add it because it helps keep me cool and refreshed. And there you have it. So {NAME}, if youâre looking for a skin-hydrating smoothie that tastes like a tropical getaway⦠and keeps you refreshed all summer long⦠be sure to give this recipe a try!
