Hi {NAME}, As the world struggles to contain the coronavirus outbreak, we feel it’s our responsibility as doctors to address this pressing issue directly. So today, I wanted to take a break from our regularly scheduled beauty and skincare tips — and focus on what’s most important right now: Your health. That’s why we’re urging all of our subscribers to follow proper CDC guidelines for staying safe and minimizing the risk of transmission in the crucial weeks ahead. That includes: - Avoiding crowded areas, such as bars, restaurants, and public transportation, as much as possible.  - Maintaining a distance of at least 3 feet when interacting with others.  - Washing your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds each time. (This is the most effective way to reduce the risk infection!)  - Resisting the urge to touch your face unnecessarily. (Don’t worry, that doesn’t mean you can’t still apply your daily skincare products — just wash your hands thoroughly before and after application.)  - Carrying hand sanitizer with you whenever you’re out in public areas, so you can use it when soap isn’t available. Additionally, to ensure your safety and the safety of others, we strongly recommend that you: - Avoid all non-essential travel for the time being.  - Stay at home as much as possible (this especially crucial if you're over 65 or have underlying medical conditions that put you at higher risk.)  - Stock up on essential items now, in case you need to self-quarantine later. And most importantly — if you think you might be sick, please call your doctor immediately. Do NOT visit any clinics or emergency rooms unless your doctor tells you to. You may also want to postpone all non-urgent doctor’s visits, such as routine checkups, until a later date. And if you require a medication refill, please ask your pharmacy to deliver it to your home, rather than picking it up in person. Because the more you avoid unnecessary visits to medical facilities, the SAFER you’ll be! Lastly, please don’t panic — I really mean that. I know that might seem hard to do, given everything that’s going on right now. But if we all just stay calm, stay vigilant, and follow the proper precautions for the time being... We will get through this, I promise! We just have to remember that we’re all in this together… And if we all do our part to stay safe — we’ll only come out STRONGER in the end. Your Beverly Hills MD, Dr. John Layke P.S. In effort to do OUR part, Dr. Danielpour and I will continue sending you important updates as the situation develops… As well as tips for staying healthy and beautiful in the weeks ahead. So be sure to keep an eye out for future emails — and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. I know the world is a crazy place right now, but we’re always here for you — and we’re still committed to helping you look your best.      This email was sent to {EMAIL} by jlayke@beverlyhills-md.com Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group 436 N.
