Just recently, a survey by the Federal Reserve showed that: The share of Americans who skipped out on necessary medical treatment, including prescriptions, rose substantially over the last year. The ability to afford health care often translates to better health, so this is alarming for our national health. I’m proud to have helped pass the Inflation Reduction Act, which grants Medicare the ability to negotiate for lower prescription drug prices. Meanwhile, not a single Republican voted in favor of the measure. And now, their budget proposal undercuts much of the law. We need to make sure they’re voted out of power once and for all.
